About QBR
Quality Business Referrals has a more informal attitude than many similar networking groups. We try to fit the needs of our members, many of whom are individual entrepreneurs or work for small businesses.
There are no continuing monthly dues for membership. The main fee amounts to a joining fee. Members pay a one-time charge of $50 to support the QBR Web site (www.qualitybusinessreferrals.com), plus another $5 to defray the cost of QBR business cards.
We do value participation. Specifically, members are asked to: attend a minimum 75 percent of our meetings each year and notify the president of the group when he or she will be absent.
Like many networking groups, we want to assemble a broad selection of industries, so only one member is allowed from each industry. In addition, QBR members are not allowed to belong to any similar referral groups that meet in Rochester. This policy encourages referrals to QBR members instead of competitors.
